Nice Catch!

Extraordinary skills from Caterina Dimond, whose fast thinking and brilliant horsemanship almost certainly prevented a major incident at Hastings earlier this season. Five-year-old gelding JUVEE TOO took a sharp left turn exiting the starting gate last month and, in the process, dumped apprentice rider Fraser Aebly in the dirt. Juvee Too then proceeded to gallop full-tilt in the wrong direction and, alarmingly, right towards the oncoming field of runners. Thankfully, Caterina leapt into action, headed off the runaway express train that was Juvee Too and managed to gather the horse in as the runners passed safely by.
