Let’s Play Ball!

The Hastings backstretch community came together for summer softball on Monday and, while a great time was had by one and all, there were some sore limbs and joints on the humans come Tuesday morning!

2022 CTHS BC Yearling and Mixed Sale

The BC CTHS 2022 Yearling and Mixed Sale catalogue is now out and has 77 entries, the majority of which are yearlings.

The sale is on September 8 at the Thunderbird Show Park in Langley with a Preview Day on Sept. 7.

As ususal there is a good selection of yearlings by BC_based stallions, as well as a good smattering of sires from further afield, such as former Kentucky Derby winners Always Dreaming and I’ll Have Another.

We’ll carry a detailed preview of the catalogue in the coming weeks but likely highlights will certainly include a Palace Malice half-sisiter to AT ATTENTION and a half-brother to the rapid BOLD ARCH.

A reminder to the public that there is NO free admission for this one day as the entire facility has been rented out. There are wristbands available for free for Box Seat owners and owners that have horses entered to run on Saturday.
