Winners Bred in BC
Another bumper week for local nurseries with no less than 11 of the weekend’s 14 heats at Hastings going the way of BC-bred runners. There were also several winners wider afield that carried the ‘BC’ suffix, including Bakken’s son, JOJOMAR, whose victory at Penn National last week was his fourth of the current campaign. By Bakken out of the Swiss Yodler Mare, Yodeling Ann, Jojomar is a half-brother to former Jack Diamond Futurity winner and Champion 2yo colt at Hastings, Outoftheclouds (Storm Victory). Congratulations to breeders Helen Klimes and Sharon Pring and to all the connections of BC-bred winners.
