Cup Day Overnight Entries
Here’s a first look at Saturday’s bumper eight-race card for Cup Day, along with details of how qualified license holders may obtain their wristbands for entry. Full race previews on Friday.

THE CUP (July 20)

(Owners, Trainers, and Backstretch Workers)
Access to the frontside (from the tunnel and edge of the paddock) is only available to individuals that are 19-yrs-old+ and have a wristband.
On Saturday, July 20th, beginning at 11:00 am until 1:45 pm, Neil Stajkowski from the HBPA will be at a table at the Race Office by the tunnel access. Neil will be handing out wristbands to those who are qualified to receive them:
- Owners of a horse who is running on Cup Day – up to 4 wristbands per horse.
- The Trainer(s) of a horse(s) running on Cup Day.
- Grooms who will be paddocking a horse on Cup Day.
Please note – Trainers, if your owner is coming but arriving later, please pick up their wristband from Neil before 1:45.
PLEASE NOTE: A current license is required to receive a wristband and so please ensure that you have yours available.
All wristbands issued to license holders provide access only, and DO NOT include any benefits associated with purchased wristband/tickets.
BOXHOLDERS: If you have a Reserved Box leased from Hastings, you are entitled to 6 wristbands – these are distributed by Peter Glavas, Sales and Catering Manager for Hastings. These are available NOW and Peter can be reached at 604.354.3141 or peter.glavas@hastingsracecourse.com.
It is suggested that you get these before July 20th if you do not have yours already.
Neil will not have these wristbands.
