The Barbara Heads-trained AT ATTENTION (blinkers, Antonio Reyes) returns to the scene of one of his biggest wins this season when he takes on fellow Hastings’ raider BOITANO (from the Mel Snow barn) in a deep-looking field of nine in Saturday’s $100k Speed to Spare Stakes at Century Mile. The absence of Infinite Patience from the Lynn Chouinard Founders Distaff field gives Hastings barn-mate SOLARITY her own shot at some Stakes glory after running superbly behindthe Hastings-based superstar no fewer than five times this season. It won’t be easy. There’s Willow Creek Farms’ classy campaigner WE B THREE to face again, as well as Alberta Horse of the Year contender DANCE SHOES, who has won five of her past six races, including four Stakes contests.
